Hi. I'm Catharine Wright and I have the privilege of serving The Wright Group as President. What makes me think I have something to offer you? Well, years of hands on experience and training for one. A file full of endorsements for another. And probably most importantly, an attitude, personality, approach, perspective and level of commitment that client's value.
I've owned and operated two successful companies and have managed both public and private companies at senior levels. My background is in economic development, business development, and technology sector development.
I am a Master of Business (MBA) graduate, and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Certified Professional Behaviours Analyst (CPBA) and Certified Legacy Leadership™ facilitator. Performance management is my game -- leadership development my specialty.
As a coach, I like to explore, listen carefully and deeply, encourage, advise, challenge, support, and strategize. My mission is to help you gain many new insights and experience those wonderful "ah ha" moments that catapult you in the direction you choose. I always learn and grow along side my clients.
My specialization is coaching key decisions makers around issues pertaining to leadership, teambuilding, and talent management. I like to use validated assessments as the foundation to leveraging individual and team strengths.
As a consultant and trainer, I take an exploratory, action-oriented, problem-solving approach. Designing business and life strategies that not only work but last, is much of what I'm about. In fact, I'm not interested in taking on projects unless I'm convinced I can add value and make a lasting impact.
I always try to stick to one key principle: emphasize practical strategies and tactics that people can apply. I also do my best to practise what I preach. I'm always working to stretch the limits of my knowledge and abilities. For instance, I am constantly reading recently published business books and articles -- for your benefit and mine. I actively participate in e-learning groups and discussion as well as seminars and conferences. I give talks on numerous business issues and teach a series of business-oriented teleclasses.
