This is a multi-rater assessment process which gives you feedback from selected people about yourself or an employee's behaviours and skills.
Used and administered appropriately, a 360 degree assessment can be an excellent developmental tool. It is also a welcome addition to a benchmarking project for a few reasons. Firstly, it can be used to verify talent assessment results; secondly, to provide additional information for developmental purposes; and thirdly, to give peers and direct reports an opportunity to provide feedback on an individual's performance.
